HONZIL 1% Soap: Ketoconazole 1% SOAP composition belongs to a class of drugs called ‘antifungal’ primarily used to treat fungal skin infections. It has fungicidal action and acts mainly by inhibiting the enzyme 14α-demethylase, which is involved in the synthesis of ergosterol and alters the permeability and integrity of the fungal cell membrane, leading to cell lysis and death.
